This policy explains what personal information rotorix-sim.com collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers this website only.
What we collect
The contact form is the only place this site asks you for personal information. When you submit it, we receive:
- Your name and email address, which the form requires.
- Your phone number, organisation and subject, if you choose to give them.
- The message you write.
- The time the submission was received.
Your IP address is used at the moment you submit, to detect and limit automated abuse of the form, and it appears in this site's server logs as it does on any website. It is not included in the enquiry that reaches us, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
What we do with it
Your submission is sent by email to Rotorix so that we can reply to your enquiry. We use it to respond to you and to discuss training requirements. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
The message is delivered through our email provider, which necessarily processes it in order to transmit it.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is found and used — which pages are read, for how long, and roughly which country a visit came from. To do that, Google sets cookies in your browser and gives it a random identifier. We look at this only in aggregate, to see how the site is performing. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not run advertising or remarketing from it.
Google processes that data on our behalf; their practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Apart from analytics, the contact form uses a security token to protect against forged submissions, and the site stores a small value in your browser's session storage so the introduction sequence does not replay on every page. Both are cleared when you close the browser, and neither is used to identify you.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they are relevant to our correspondence with you, and are then deleted. Abuse-prevention records are short-lived.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to frans@rotorix-sim.com and we will action the request.
